Ours is a Co-Educational Arts & Science College, affiliated to the University of Madras and managed by Mutthamil Educational Trust under the able Chairmanship of Dr. Akilan Ramnathan, a Former Bureaucrat and a generous Philanthropist. With the motto of “ Empowering students with holistic education to transform the society towards nation building” , we began our academic journey on 2nd August 2018 and, till date, we have been marching towards academic excellence, handholding students of all strata of the society, particularly with students of poor economic and social backgrounds. This vouches our social responsibility.

At Aksheyaa, We are offering academic programmes, such as B.Com (General), B.Com (Accounting & Finance), B.B.A (Business Administration), B.S.c (Computer Science), and B.C.A (Computer Application). The students of these programmes are made to understand, in clear terms, the nuances and purpose of studying these programmes, in a conceptual and practical way. To support our students to sail through these programmes without any hurdles, these programmes are taught by academically well qualified faculty with rich teaching experience. Besides, the students are exposed to guest Lectures given by the reputed professionals and industrialists periodically. We also make our students visit various industries to gain knowledge about practical applications of their study area. Through this Institute-Industry Linkage, we marshal our students with the developments taking place in the real world from time to time in their domain. Apart from the University prescribed curriculum, we offer our students skill oriented and value added courses each semester to enhance their learning experience.

Our students are really blessed with state – of – the-art-infrastructure, that includes, fully furnished class rooms with provisions for using technological teaching aids, well-stacked library with serene learning atmosphere, fully equipped labs with adequate internet connected modern systems, vast play ground with abundant sports equipments for diverse games, two conference halls embedded with a usage of technological gadgets and with more than sufficient seating capacities, restrooms for boys and girls, transport facility connecting nook and corner of students’ abode, nutritious canteen facility, good sanitation and pure and safe drinking water

To inculcate team spirit, togetherness, ethical, social and moral values amongst out students, we form various clubs and associations, such as literary club, Culturals association, Sports club, Photography club, Red - Ribbon club, Women Development Cell, Humor club, Press club, Citizens club, Seminar club and Conference club. These clubs are effectively run and managed by the students regularly.

The college has a robust training and placement cell, through which our students are trained every semester in mastering communication skills and job related career skills. The college has a sound grievance cell mechanism, headed by to senior male and female faculty, to redress the grievances of students amicably and righteously To sum up, we can say for sure, that Aksheyaa College of Arts & Science is a college with difference, in the sense that, the students here really feel and experience conducive knowledge transformation, coupled with good ethical, moral and value system.
