Commerce plays a vital role in the economic development of a nation. With the information era we are living in, the field of commerce has witnessed sea changes over the years. To make the students aware and meet the challenges of the changes effectively, we design our semester and course plans. This obviously enables the students to choose a career of their choice in the field of commerce from the basket of opportunities. In the final year, the students are encouraged to undertake internship training in banks, accounting firms, stock broking firms, insurance companies and other commerce related entities. The resource persons from the business community visit our college regularly and interact with the students about their job experiences, the past, present and future side of the business and industry, the skill sets expected of the students by the industry and so on. Taking these inputs into consideration, our staff members, who is highly qualified and experienced, design their academic programmes.
